Our pediatric department carefully monitors the growth and development of children, providing general and specialized medical care for the prevention and treatment of common pediatric diseases.
We strive to support children’s healthy growth by offering high-quality healthcare services in various fields, including pediatric cardiology, hematology-oncology, genetic diseases, neonatology, endocrinology, nephrology, allergies and asthma, neurology and seizure disorders, gastroenterology and liver diseases, and infectious diseases.
Since its establishment in 1946, the Department of Pediatrics at Kyungpook National University has played a central role in pediatric medicine, producing numerous specialists who have contributed to pediatric health promotion not only across universities and hospitals nationwide but also internationally.
In particular, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region Children’s Hospital, opened in 2013, provides systematic and specialized care to pediatric patients through advanced medical equipment and a multidisciplinary collaboration system. We are committed to continuously providing reliable medical services for children and families.
