Introduction
Since the opening of Kyungpook National University Children's Hospital in 2013, the pediatric intensive care unit at Kyungpook National University Children's Hospital was opened in November 2015 in response to the continuous influx of pediatric critically ill patients and the need for medical staff to care for them. As of March 2019, it has eight beds, including a positive and negative pressure isolation room.
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is equipped with specialized and specialized medical equipment for intensive monitoring, nursing, and treatment of critically ill infants, children, and adolescents after 14 days of age, and operates as a multidisciplinary comprehensive care system for the best possible care.
